thought I was in for a short day, and pulled more hours for a Friday than I have pulled the past three,,,

No complaints, none,,,

Rough day, but that comes when you are punching holes in dirt in Northern Tennessee and it has been drought conditions for months. That Red Clay is meaner than a pissed off Drunk redhead in a bar full of blondes. (if you know, you know,,, LOL)

tomorrow looms over me right now. Want to go paddling, (duh!) but feeling motivational issues (whupped right now, Delts are sore from using that Spudbar on TN clay, and that cold thing; more effort just to gear up,,,, )

not making excuses, just listing things that are causing the miasma,,, Mostly so I have a clear view of the feild and my obstacles I will face to get there.

AND, I really need the time away from things, getting physical/spiritual that isn’t work,,, Don’t even want to delve into the world at large because its off the chain now. Without talking who, what, or why; one only needs to look at the numbers,,, How much money is being ‘spent’, not just today but over the last month/year. Everything else becomes meaningless. Just the figures they write as if it meant something but in reality is Zimbabwe Redux. Maybe Weimar Republic is more apt,,,,

Dunno, don’t care anymore… There will be no fixing this and NO, there will be no RepugnanCAN’T revolution at the last minute. That ship never made it to port the last several times they were given a chance, and anyone that thinks ‘this time is gonna be different’ is part of the problem in an abusive relationship.

Our world is sick, mentally so, and its starting to show in symptoms in people world wide. Untreatable Depressions, suicide rates climbing, etc etc. There is a crash coming, and people are going to die in droves from it. Some by self inflctions, others through ‘buying the hype’ like covidiocy, others in fighting the beast in its death throes.

Yeah, I kayak for sanity, at least that world is still there, unchanged and mostly forgotten about by most. The fish and deer don’t give a hoot about some pedophile groper stealing things.

(and that little pep-talk was ALL the motivation I needed to get my ass in dry gear and to the water,,,, Gotta get a good nights sleep in first.)

    Well , I certainly didn’t sleep well last evening. Guess I’ve been watching too many economists predicting what is to come…
    Still , is better to be forewarned than to be caught out without a clue.
    Slapped down another bunch of TP in trade for shiny metal yesterday.
    Better stored at my chosen deep dark hole, than at the bank that charges me money to store it hmm.
    At least it will keep its value long term hopefully.
    Went shopping for upcoming fortieth anniversary next week. After all these years together and still have no clue as to what ta get the old gal…so I bought a new Sig instead lol. Just like the one I got for her a few years back (hers has seven extra mags) I figured that since I was shopping for her that sharing is caring…got till next week to figure out a gift for her.
    Indeed , flat assed scary times and not a soul in government is making it better.
    Up to us fer sure. Surely to just ignore it and fail to prepare is the path to certain failure.
    My father in law told me way back when, the key to wealth is learning not to spend all your money.
    Too bad Congress can’t figure out that simple fact !

      But they have,,,, They spend OUR money like it’s going out of style (it is) and rake in percentages laundered by fake deals and make bank. How else can a Congress critter making 100K/year (lowballed) end up a multimillionare in less than one term? Certainly not through wise and frugal investing, seeing how they live ‘much richer’ lives buying mulitple houses cars and planes,,,,
      Dunno, not picking nits,,, but the Grift is obvious to anyone willing to not accept ‘the narrative’ as gospel.
      I only know this: if you or I were to operate our finances like our government operates thier finances, we would be jailed for multiple charges of RICO Fraud.

    As cautiously optimistic as I am, yer right – there’s no way in hell this can be fixed! We’ll (whoever’s left, anyway) hafta start from scratch and with whatever scraps are left. Prepare, Prepare, Prepare!!!
