Francis has an excellent piece up.

Words mean things, and one of my biggest issues in dealing with leftist indoctrinated supposed intellectuals is hwo mangled their language is by ‘redefined’ words.

In comments in the above link, someone points out that Socialism is a POLITICAL SYSTEM.  and they are absolutely correct (and the reason they state that is due to the image Francis starts his post with.  GO READ )

BUT, reading that comment, I wanted to add a little something to it.  Socialism is a POLITICAL SYSTEM, but CAPITALISM is a SOCIAL SYSTEM.    It’s relatively easy to see the difference if one tries.   In Capitalism, if you screw over your customers, you won’t be in business very long, but if you take care of your people, your customers and provide products or services that meet or EXCEED, your business will grow exponentially.  You MUST have some social standing or be willing to foster and mentor such to be a successful capitalist AND even then, just like any social construct, there are NO GUARANTEES, but if you aim to just be a rip-off artist, you will be found out, and usually sooner than later.
The arguments against Capitalism of late all use the same dialogue and examples: Mega Corps.   While those companies are perfect for the those arguing for Socialism, they are abhorrent to Capitalism since they have grown large enough that they can ‘buy’ political favor and squash would be competition.   The social system is no longer in play and therefore they are not truly Capitalist venture (though their share-holders would disagree with me on that.).(this is not absolutely true, even with the protections afforded by the GOV for Pfizer and Moderna etal, they are rapidly losing share values as the truth comes out about their products, so yes, it does still work, even against Mega-corps.).

The words have meanings, Try to not let the left control the dictionary.

Taxes are necessary because when you borrow money from the mob,you have to be able to at least pay the vig. And the federal Reserve is the mob. Those taxes aren’t for keeping the country running.
