Well, yeah, its an S-10, same as last one, ‘cept this ‘uns a Crew cab/shortbed and a few years younger. Still ‘moving in’ and I has a feelin’ that those nerf bars on the bedside are coming off! I need my work box to haul me tools and while it does have a rack, thats a yuppie rack that will not haul a kayak, so I will need to add a bed rack extension of some sort. Gotsta be able to haul me boats around and don’t wanna haul a trailer every damned time its time to play.

And yeah, its got some issues, but its aint falling apart at the frame. This stuff is trivial in comparison, and one of them self corrected already. Dash lights were questionable, but as I have started and driven it a couple of tines they started working. Likely a little corrosion on a relay terminal and its burned off now. The truck sat for over a year so little things like that will ‘go away’. The soft start fuel pump may need a little encouragement (called physical replacement!) But even that is not horrible compared to seeing holes in the frame and undercarriage.
